Privacy Policy

Intrinsic is made by Scipio Enterprises LLC. This policy covers the Intrinsic app and intrinsicwaves.com.

The short version: Intrinsic does not collect personal information. There is no account, nothing to sign in to, and nothing about what you listen to is sent anywhere.

What Intrinsic does not do

• No account, no sign-in, no profile
• Does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location
• Does not record or transmit your listening history
• No advertising, no ad identifiers, no third-party ad networks
• No analytics or tracking of any kind
• No access to your microphone, camera, contacts, photos, or files
• Does not sell or share personal information with anyone

Sound is generated on your device

Every tone is generated in real time on your device as you listen. No audio is recorded, uploaded, or streamed, and nothing you hear leaves your device.

Settings stay on your device

Intrinsic saves your preferences — selected tone, carrier pitch, volume, timer length, sound bed — in your device's local storage so the app opens the way you left it. This never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes these settings permanently.

Hosting and third-party requests

Intrinsic is delivered over the web. As with essentially every website, the hosting provider records standard technical information with each request — IP address, browser and device type, and the time of the request — for security and reliability.

Loading the app also requests typefaces from Google Fonts, and the platform Intrinsic is built on loads a small script of its own. Both receive your IP address as an unavoidable part of any web request, exactly as happens on any site you visit. We do not use either to identify you, and we receive no information back from either one.

If you installed from Google Play

Google collects its own information about installations, crashes, and usage under the Google Privacy Policy. That collection belongs to Google, not to us, and we receive only aggregate, anonymous summaries — never anything that identifies an individual.

Purchases

The Tuner is a one-time purchase, handled entirely by Google Play. Intrinsic never sees your card, your name, or your billing address. Google processes the payment and tells the app only whether you own the unlock.

When you buy the Tuner, Google Play hands the app a purchase token — an opaque string identifying that one transaction. The app sends that token to a small server we operate, which asks Google to confirm the purchase and mark it as delivered. Google requires this confirmation; without it, your purchase would be automatically refunded after three days. The app also sends the token when it starts up if you already own the Tuner, so that a purchase which never got confirmed still gets confirmed.

That server keeps no database and no account records. It holds the token only for the moment it takes to check with Google. Its ordinary operating logs record the Google order number for a short period, as any server’s logs would. The token identifies a transaction, not a person — it is not tied to a name, an email address, or a device, and nothing else is ever sent to that server.

Everything else on this page still holds. There is no account, no analytics, no listening history, and the sound is generated on your device as you listen.

Refunds and purchase history are managed through Google Play under Google's own terms.

Children

Intrinsic is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes to this policy

Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
